SPY-Q Enables Objective Analysis of Perfusion
The SPY-Q Analysis Toolkit is a post-processing software that can be used in combination with SPY Imaging to compare fluorescence in image sequences captured pre-, intra- and post-procedure. The differences in fluorescence indicate changes in relative blood flow and can be associated with changes in tissue perfusion achieved during a surgical procedure. Adequacy or improvements in tissue perfusion may be indicative of surgical outcomes.
Combined with SPY images and using a unique set of algorithms, SPY-Q provides surgeons with additional information about the results of surgical intervention while the patient is still in the operating room. This information may enable the surgeon to make critical operative decisions, such as determining the need for technical revisions or adjunctive therapies that may have otherwise not been recognized as an option.

SPY-Q is a separate companion software application to the SPY Intra-operative Imaging System and is intended as a display, analysis, and comparison tool for the interpretation of SPY images by trained healthcare professionals including cardiovascular, plastic and reconstructive, and organ transplant surgeons. The clinician retains the ultimate responsibility for making the pertinent diagnosis based on their standard practices and visual comparison of the separate images.
